Sheena Barry is a professional artist and teacher based in Belvidere, Knysna. After two decades in primary education in the United Kingdom and an MA in Fine Arts from Coventry University, she returned to South Africa to paint the Garden Route and share what she has learnt.
Her work moves between portraiture and landscape — the quiet theatre of a figure under a wide hat, the long horizon of the Karoo at dusk, the slow blue of cold water. Her teaching is one-to-one and small group, tailored to each painter, built on the conviction that anyone can learn to see.

Lessons for Adults
Weekly classes from the Belvidere studio.
Watercolour groups on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday & Thursday mornings. A full-day acrylic & mixed-media class once a month on Friday. Outdoor drawing on Wednesday afternoons, weather permitting.
